Rachel's Challenge - Parent Mtg

Pleasant Ridge will have our Rachel's Challenge Assembly coming this week on Thursday, September 24.  Several other schools have hosted their student event with RAVE Reviews!!!!  Neil McIntyre shares Rachel Scott’s message of kindness and compassion.  This program has been funded and supported through the Olathe Public Schools Foundation for all the Olathe Elementary schools for the past two years.  While Rachel’s Challenge was started because of the tragedy at Columbine, the elementary assembly focuses on kindness, compassion, and doing good deeds and does not mention the tragedy at Columbine at all.  This powerful message reminds us all of the influence one person can have on the world and the power we have within us to do something that can cause a chain reaction.

If you would like to learn more about Rachel’s Challenge we would like to invite you to one of the parent sessions being offered at Indian Creek Elementary this Wednesday, September 23rd at 7:00 PMThese parent nights will share the original Rachel’s Challenge message, including information about Columbine, and are open to all Olathe parents.  It is truly worth your time to come and listen to this presenter, so invite a neighbor to come with you and join us Wednesday to hear Rachel Scott’s inspiring message.
