Dear Parents,
We
wanted to make you aware of some early morning police activity in the area of
our school this morning involving an attempted property burglary at a local
drugstore.
The
District has been in contact with both the Overland Park & Olathe Police
Departments. Public Safety officials have indicated that this incident does not
pose any threat or challenges to our schools in the area. We provided
heightened supervision during student arrival and, as we do everyday, have
secured all of the building entrances.
The
District will continue to coordinate with Public Safety officials and monitor
the situation closely.
