Mrs. Kim named Kansas Horizon Award Winner

Congratulations to Mrs. Kimberly Ingraham who was recently honored at the KEEN Conference - Kansas Exemplary Educator Network - as a Horizon Award Winner, in Topeka last week. Dr. Randy Watson, Kansas Commissioner of Education, and Senator Molly Baumgardner were among the dignitaries presenting the award.
The Kansas Horizon Awards, which are sponsored by the Kansas State Department of Education, recognize the exemplary work of teachers during their first year in the classroom. Mrs. Kim was one of 32 teachers across the state honored with the award this year. She is now in her second year of teaching in the district.

Fund-A-Need

Dear Parents,
Our Olathe Public Schools Foundation organizes a Fund-A-Need program, so that teachers or schools can place financial requests/wish lists out for the public to help support and fund a need.  If you are able to help personally, THANK YOU greatly!  Or if you would also like to post this out on your social media, we would appreciate that too because we invite anyone and everyone to support our public education process!

Here are a few Fund-A-Need proposals that are currently being requested.

Again, thank you for your consideration!

Dear Parents,

It is always during our Parent Teacher Conference time that we ask parents to participate in our School/District Parent Survey.  We try to make access to the survey easy, so you can participate in a variety of ways:

  • During Conferences, we will have laptop computers set up in the pod areas for you to complete the survey.
  • Scan a QR code with your smart phone/devise that is on display throughout our school that will link you directly to the survey.
  • Or, you can go directly to the survey via this internet link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ParentSurvey2016-17English
